What is Kalvi Pattarai
Kalvi Pattarai is a free grooming center dedicated to empowering underprivileged school children through education, life skills, and holistic development. Operating in multiple locations across North Chennai, it provides a nurturing space for students whose home environments may not support learning. With dedicated tutors and structured programs, Kalvi Pattarai helps children stay focused, away from negative influences, and excel academically while developing their creativity and confidence. Through personalized attention, value-based education, and extracurricular activities, we are shaping well-rounded individuals prepared for a brighter future.
Story of Kalvi Pattarai
Initially, Kalvi Pattarai was exquisitely born based on the notion to embrace these school-dropout children, with open arms, who had the necessary potential to shine and compete on par with the more fortunate children of economically well-balanced families. However within a short span of, this was beautifully transformed into a grooming center inclusive of skill development programs, which was the ‘Need Of The Hour’ in such a vulnerable societal background of students to prevent them from falling prey to anti-social elements, such as drug addicts, or any harmful practices prevailing in that community. We have several Centers in Chennai, and more than 4000 students have benefited in 14 years. Through KALVI PATTARAI, Gold Heart provides free tuition for all subjects to students from economically poor backgrounds, with parents being daily wage earners or servant maids or any unorganized sector with no assured regular income.
